AUNT FLO SHOWED UP!!!

Same thing haapened to me!  Actually, I started that morning of surgery with spotting so I wasn't too grossed out with the thought of it yet.  When I got to my room the hubby helped me with getting into panties and a pad, Yeah I know, TMI.  I don't do tampons (I'm a TSS survivor) so I don't know if they would let you just have that during surgery or not.

Just tell the nurse when you get to pre-op.  They've seen it all and it won't be the first time they've had to work around it.  They will likely just make sure you have a Chuk underneath.  When you wake up in recovery you'll likely have panties and a pad in place and have no idea how they got there!!

been there done that. you will be fine. hubby took me to the potty. i got a pad and panties and was done...

Yep happened to me the morning of surgery.    What was really bad, I was taken to ICU and there for 2 days and not allowed up to go potty bedpan only what a mess I had.... But dont judge my situation with yours I was a unusual case because of my Alpha 1 lung diease I was a automatic patient to ICU whether I had problems or not.

yes it also happened to me ,I was so upset but you will be fine ,,RYN you will have pads no tampons you wont be able to put them in anyway ,yea for you & welcome to the loosing bench yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa
