I am sorry things have been tough for you....I have to agree with Dawn; we are all human and sometimes answering to people other than just us means more....start being accountable for your food and your schedule (exercise-wise)....nothing better than looking back at your day to make you think about ways to do better tomorrow.
Hope things improve, Sonja

Holy cow!  You sure have been through a lot the past few months!  Are you physically okay?  Were you hurt any in the accident?  Don't push yourself to do to much if you aren't able to.  (Don't want to make any injuries worse.)  I haven't had surgery yet, but my suggestion would be to start with one thing and work on that, like getting your fluids in.  After you have that down, work on moving, or something else.  Baby steps!

Kelly I haven't had surgery either, but you are soooo right little steps.  If we do not take small steps we are sooooo much more likely to fail as big steps are too much and too big to accomplish.
be fair to yourself and good luck

I would also add get a appointment with THE AWESOME DR. TANNER.,
Make sure everything is ok with the band.. and just get that boost you need from your doctor to get going... He will reassure you and make you feel better. He is awesome!

Thanks, you all are great....you are a great inspiration....

After i posted last night, i had such a headache, i went to bed early..
I got up early...drunk my bolthouse mocha  (protein drink)
for snack today,, had  blueberry fat free yogurt w/ 1/8 c.granola..and couple sugar free candies..
for lunch 60 cal vanilla pudding w/more granola 1/8 c. ...spoon full of low fat peanut butter. on couple fat free crackers...
(my husband transported me to work due to icy roads here)
so i had to improvise for lunch..
for dessert on my lunch hour -i walked in office for about 20-30 minutes, i THOGHT ABOUT CALLING DR TANNER BUT-I AM SCHEDULED TO SEE BACK ON FEBRUARY 13,  ( ?) friday the 13th... may not be such a good day...i believe that is the right date...friday before valentine's day...I really like Dr Tanner, he has such a great "people" personality.---the last time i was in for a fill on the 2nd he was really rushed due to having to go back into surgery friday afternoon, but he still took the time to make sure i was doing okay and joke with my husband..

I AM GOING TO TRY TO BE MORE ACCOUNTABLE----WRITE IT DOWN AND I AM THINKING ABOUT STARTING BACK WITH W.WATCHERS...LET'S CHANGE THAT TO I WILL BE MORE ACCOUTABLE...I KNOW THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN START TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MAINTAINING MY WEIGHT LOSS AND CONTINUING WITH THE LOSING...
AGAIN THANKS
I WILL BE READING AND VISITING , EVEN IF I DON'T ALWAYS POST....

Annie, Make sure you tell him you were in a accident ok? U want to make sure everything is ok with the band.. He is a great doctor. he stopped by a support group just to say hi and we got to attack him for A HOUR with questions. he was funny and informative, you couldnt ask for better response.. I think we all had a mild doc crush when he left.. lol
You can do it. I do better when I carry a notebook and plan my food day.. GOOD LUCK! and keep in touch ok?

thanks dawn, you all are angels...
I need to start charting and planning... i realize to get results, the accountability is a "major" factor.,,, I will keep trying...
----i did not get to walk today..went to physical therapy and did not make it back in time to office to  walk ....
i found a way to reduce bmi without losing lbs...it is called "traction"--i believe after they get thru pulling on my neck/shoulders, i should be about 2 inches taller..ain't that a hoot....maybe that is the bright sideagain thanks,
cathy....
