I haven't been on here a while but I needed some help and advice if anyone can help. For the last few months I haven't lost any weight but i have noticed that my clothes are fitting more loosely, but its frustrating not seeing it on the scales and then I get upset and start eating unhealthy then I feel guilty and it all seems to just go in circles. Sometimes I feel like giving up and realize that maybe I will never lose the weight. I know weight loss with the band is supposed to be slow but mine seems to have stopped all together and I just don't know what to do to get back on track and start losing again. Please help!!!!

When did you have the surgery???/   I am at a plateau myself after 17 months but I am losing inches and not weight  infact I gained 4 lbs. but it was muscle as I work out at least 3 days a week and sometimes 3 to 5  days a week.   So if you are exercising that may be why you are in this funk.   Try changing you  calorie intake either bump  it up or down and see if that will kick start that

Hi..  the band is a hard thing to have.. Alot of things sllllllllllideee right thru, and its hard because with no restriction you have to do it on your own..
All you can do is keep your fills up to date and try, try, try... you can do it.. thats what support boards are for... If you dont have restriction it is a hard cycle.. Just pick yourself up and dust yourself off.. Try the accountabilty posts here, Use daily plate, it helps most of us here.. you can do this it just takes some work.. but the work will be worth it! I PROMISE!!! I go tomm for a much needed fill to get me back on track for the last 25 pounds!!
U can do it sbarrett, it just takes some work till you get restriction!!

I truly understand but don't give up.  I have been at the same weight since November.  However I bought a several pair of pants size 12 yesterday and they look good on me.  The scale still has not changed.  It is stressful but like the movie Chicago.  Are you going to believe what you see or what the scale tells you.  Believe what you see and keep working with it.  The scale will catch up later.

Take care,

Z

As a wise person once told me ...  THROW AWAY THE SCALE AND GET OUT THE TAPE MEASURE!    Funny, Dr Tom and I were talking about this exact thing today :o)

Whatever you do, the only failure is to give up.

Don't give up!!
