It's a new week!

I just wanted to wish everyone who is having surgery this week good luck and let you know that it's the best decision you've ever made.  I know having surgery is scary - I was scared of being put to sleep, wondering how I'd feel when I woke up, unsure about how I'd do when I got home - but it will all be fine and you'll be 6 weeks out before you know it.

Granted, the first few weeks are hard - the liquid diet is so boring and the mushy stage isn't much better, but it DOES get easier.  Think of it this way - you can do ANYTHING for a determined short amount of time.  And it's worth it in the long term - just keep thinking that when you get discouraged.

One of the hardest things early on is to get in all your vitamins and water, but YOU CAN DO IT!

My best wishes to all of you!!
