Migraine

Ladies I have a migraine set on cause it is that time of the month. I have only had a couple headaches since my surgery and Tylenol seemed to work for those. Not this one.Not even my vicodine is helping.
If you suffer from migraines what do you take for them ? I need my dr. to write me a prescription for something.

I get them Holli but the only thing that whips them is 2 advil caplets and a dark, quiet room to sleep it off in! Mine are blood pressure related and sometimes my bp perscrip just does not do the trick. Hope ya feel better!


PS I know we are not suppose to take advil but it is not often and Dr A is aware....

Holli, I hope you are feeling better today, there is a med you can get a drugstore, called percogesic, it is like tylenol, but to me alot better, that is what I take. it is acetominiphin or ever how you spell it. lol.
   and like Lee Ann said go to bed, pull the shades, and sleep, hopefully you can do that without any problem.

Holli, I get them, and at that time of the month too..
However since I've lost some weight and have been exercising I don't get them nearly as much.
My dr. perscribed MANY drugs for me and NOTHING would even touch them.. Finally I tried the Excedrin Migraine at the damn drug store and they work almost immediately.. I don't know if this is something I'm supposed to take... but it takes away the migraine so heck, I'm taking it!! LOL

Don't really know anything about migraines or meds, but I hope you feel better soon!
Would a strong shot of Crown help?  lol
