A new size for me and I'm now a cheap drunk!
Yesterday was one of those really cool NSV days!!
My plan yesterday was to go shopping for "the next size down" since I'm once again on the "losing side" of the scale. I can thankfully now say that all the holiday weight is once again OFF!!
I'm wearing my size 16's comfortably so I thought I'd maybe buy a couple pair of size 14 jeans for next month. I headed to Kohl's since their store brand jeans, which I really like, are 19.00 right now. I also have a 30% your entire purchase coupon right now. That brings those jeans down to 13.99 a piece!!
Anyway, I try on the 14's and THEY FIT GOOD!!! After I do a little happy dance, I TEXT Dawn since I simply HAD to tell somebody my news. She encourages me to try the 12's. I go back out and pick a pair of 12 jeans and another of the same cut in a navy trouser. Well, I was able to get them on too!! They are fairly snug but they zipped by golly, so that kinda counts too right? I think it's been about 20 years (something like 10th grade) since I've been able to wear 12's!!
I ended up buying three pair of 14's and two pair of 12's along with six tops (a couple were from the clearance rack) and ended up spending only $153.00. Not bad at all!! I think i've got my fanny covered for several months now until it's time to start thinking shorts and I can't wait for that since this past summer I was in 18's and 16's!!
Another odd sort of NSV for me yesterday is that I am offically a cheap drunk! Hubby and I went to the movies and then dinner since our daughter is with granny this weekend. I ordered a mixed drink at dinner and didn't even fini****!! I was loopy!!!
LOL, we came home and I fell asleep on the couch.....poor hubby....I even had on new Victoria's Secrets!

Ultrasound was Friday and the tech was being tight lipped so I didn't get an indication of what she saw. I see Dr. Larson on Tuesday so I have to wait until then to know what's going on. The good news is that I am feeling better so I guess the flair-up has settled down for now.
