Happy Saturday!
Good morning! Do you feel the heat wave?! LOL! Suppose to get up to 33 here in Owensboro today. I hope it does...my kitchen pipes are frozen. I still have water in the bathroom, but not in the kitchen...weird. I guess it's because it's on an outside wall.
What is everyone doing today? I'm a Tastefully Simple Consultant and have 2 parties to do this weekend. Yeah! Extra spending money!! Monday, I'm cleaning the house because I'm hosting Bunco at my house on Wednesday and it will be the only day I can clean before it. Other than those things, I have no other plans. YOU?
Have a great weekend! Enjoy the tropical weather! HA!

I hope it gets warmer today, I can't stand the cold, and the electric bill will be high!!!

Tastefully Simple is Gourmet Food made simple! LOL! It is a food company that sells things like dips, cheeseballs, breads, sauces, desserts that only require one to three ingredients to make. I do taste testing parties (in your home, or wherever you would host your party) or you can do a catalog party. It's like other businesses except its a food party...and you know how people like food!!
I like the products because they are something that you can keep in the cabinet and whip it up in a hurry (say, you have a family function to go to or company come over all of the sudden). You can also use the mixes in everyday cooking as well. (We have a product called Onion, Onion, that I use in my cooking of meat or green beans. Same with the Garlic, Garlic product.) The products don't just have to be used as a dip or cheeseball, etc. I've been selling it for about 1 1/2 years now and have not tasted anything bad from this company. Here is my website if you want to check it out...

Check out the recipe section of it as well. There are 1000's of recipes in it to use the products in different ways. No pressure! I just love the stuff and love to share the news of the products!

Hey, Dawn. See my post above. I replied to Greeneyes about what Tastefully Simple is. Next time we have support group, I'll bring you a catalog so you can see it, or you can check out my website. Good stuff!

Gracie is with my mother until Sunday so I am childree today!!
Last night, Richard and I went to the movies and then out to eat. I got buzzed on one drink and then came home and crashed!! The best part of the evening is I wore my new size 14 jeans and a Large sweater.
Today Richard is down at the neighbor dudes house watching UFC tapes. I'm going to Sam's Club for provisions in just a few minutes. I think I'll make some Chicken Tortilla soup, clean house and read/check out OH intermittantly! AKA....lazy day!!!
Actually, I think I'm going to tell Richard we need to go to church tonight since we don't have any lame excuses today!
I just had an idea......bariatric bunco!! Maybe every other month?? Those of us that would commit would agree to travel to the various ends of Kentucky!!
BUNCO! I'm in!
What I thought was going to be a lazy day has turned out not to be - leaving in a few minutes to get some workout clothes, hopefully at Target. Starting with a trainer at the Y tomorrow. Then to VitaminShoppe for some Vitamin D (my first labs came back really low in D) and some Nectar. Then to a movie with Bill to see "Milk" - I lived in San Francisco back in those days and have been wanting to see it - plus really think Sean Penn is an excellent actor. Then to my dad's for some vegetable soup for dinner and then watch U of L hopefully beat Pittsburgh on TV. Wow! So much for relaxation. At least it's mostly fun stuff! Maybe I'll relax tomorrow after I get back from the Y. I HAVE to get some reading time in - it's my absolute favorite thing to do!!
Have a good weekend everyone!

Hi Debbie,
When you go shopping for workout clothes try Walmart too. THey have pretty good prices on their Danskin items. Pants and jackets are 9.00 to 11.00. Tops are anywhere from 5.00 to 10.00. The ones I prefer are more the cotton yoga type pants.....I'm leary of that lycra stuff hugging and showing off my jelly rolls!!
Last week I bought 2 jackets, 2 pants, 3 tops for something like $53.00. I went back the next day and got 2 more tops.
Oh yeah, I bought the drawstring pants so I can get more mileage out of them and wear them even once they get baggy again.
I see you are also living in the Louisville area. Which Y do you go to? I'm out in Oldham county and use that one.
