Help!!! Questions about Medicare

Hi, I am just strting this journey and I have Medicare. I know they don't require preapproval and all the other stuff some insurances require but I was wondering about my part of the bill. About how much will I have to come up with? I was thinking about $4000-$5000 but I was reading some of the forums and they are saying ALOT less than that. I was just curious what some of you have had to pay so I will know what I have to save up. Any help is appreciated.

Tracy, it depends on where you are with your co-insurance, how long you are in the hospital, what type of Medicare you have and if you have a secondary insurance or not....many things could affect your out of pocket...

Well I've had all my tests and stuff done and is about to get started on my Journey. I'm trying to get Lap Band and all I was gonna have to pay was 600 or 700 one. Wouldn't hurt to call your doctors office or the number on the back of medicare
