Needing Advice Please
Libby I had the deep vein study and Anthem covered it ...of course at the time I had blood clots in my leg and lungs. If you are denied by Athem.... just keep appealing. They approved me for RNY then I had the Pulmonary Embolus so surgery had to be put on hold then they discovered I had Crohns so no RNY. I applied for the band Denied. THen appealed Denied. Then had my kidney, orthopedic, primary care, blood specialist and surgeon write letters. I was denied again. My BMI was .5 to high. My kidney doc who is asian said in an accent "How you be to fat for weight loss surgery?" We appealed again and I was approved. Just keep after them. Amy
