As Nicci and I were getting in the car I noticed the car next to us had 2 hubcaps on top of the car and a woman inside the car.  She kept looking at us and she finally got out of the car and said you might want to check your car.  She said when she came out her hubcaps were top of her car and someone must have come out and scared them off.  She was afraid to get out of the car but when she saw us she got out so she could get the hubcaps and put them in the trunk she was really scared.   So just beware and we should probably all walk out together as we did tonight.

On a much better note,  I enjoyed meeting you Kelli, and my fab curvacious friends you know I love you all.    I alway feel better after seeing my wonderful friends.

Hugs

Yep, pretty scary!  We need to start using the buddy system for sure!

Heck, that's ALMOST as scary as that silly old ticket booth fella who checks me out EVERYTIME I go through there.....does he lives there 24/7??  I don't think I've EVER seen anyone in that booth but that little old horny toad (he looks at my boobs everytime so I can say that)!

I love my support group gals!!  I always feel so recharged after our meetings.

That's really scary.  I've wondered about parking there and walking out by myself.  It doesn't feel as scary during the day.  I guess it doesn't help that I drive by myself.  I have a friend who says she'd like to come with me sometime and I may bring her for safety.

Sounds like someone was trying to steal her wheels and tires.

Damn...that is scary! I think we definitely should stay together afterwards. The neighborhood is creepy enough as it is! Did anyone else see the street guy with his cart full of crap?  OMG...It was like two feet taller than him! I thought Louisville had places for these folks to go to when it is that cold?!  I know Salem doesn't and that is wrong in so many ways!  Hell...if you are homeless here they drive ya to the county line and drop ya off with words of advice to not come back...I kid ya not. A friend of Aubrey's is a cop and had to do it to a guy.

I love the meetings and getting to see all my friends! I do learn something each time even if we do joke around and chatter! I even took notes last night! Impressive for me. For those of you who did not make it....you were missed! kelly...It was great to finally meet ya in person! Hopefully next month everyone will be feeling better and more will come! Hint hint leah.....

I saw the little fella with the shopping cart too.  There actually was a homeless shelter one block BEHIND him.  I bet he was coming from there.  My social worker brain simply kicks in when I see things like that.  My thought was that he was likely to be mentally ill (my bet would be paranoid schizophrenic) and untrusting of staying in a place with other people so he opted for the street.  Sad thing indeed.

I bet all the shelters in town have their white flags up right now due to the extreme temps meaning they would take anyone in regardless of their occupancy status and if they had beds or not.

I thought about safety as I walked to my car last night by myself.  Luckily, I parked right by the stairs on the 2nd floor, so I didn't have to far to walk, but I did go in the stairwell by myself.  That woman was smart not to get out of the car, but I don't know if I would have even gotten into the car to start with if I saw my hubcaps on the roof!

It was so good to meet you all as well!  I told my husband how nice it was to see you all after talking to you all for a while online.  I'll see you all at next month's meeting for sure!
