Longtime lurker, first time poster....
Somerset is nice and I like the small town feel but not for too long at a time since I need city access or I have DTs! We thought about buying a small lake front lot but with the levels down we decided to wait.
Since he doesn't have immediate family down there anymore the hubby usually only goes as far as Stanford for the dirt drags during the season and we usually just put the boat in at Taylorsville or Nolin Lake since they are closer.
So how did you end up picking Shina all the way up here in Louisville??

Yeah, I hear you on the small town thing, my wife and I at times miss the big city amenities. We bought our home before we were aware that they were lowering the lake levels. We basically moved here to be closer to the lake and now the water is mostly gone, but what can ya do?
I started researching a long time ago about surgery, before there was a bariatric surgeon near this area, so found Dr. Shina's name and saw the reviews his patients had given him. Also, family members have told me Norton is a good hospital, so decided the drive was worth it.
