i am in the orange, I need a haircut, any suggestions? hair is thin!!

My mothers hair is really thin and the best cut I have ever seen on her was short and tossled (messy) with a semi side part and longish bangs- over the ears...so yes, short. I think it would look really nice on you too. It is really easy to "style" and wear.  Mom has since grown it out long...I am a horrible daughter...I keep teasing her I am gonna cut it in her sleep. IF I can get a picture scanned by the DH I will put it on OH. I do not think I can he is sleeping- still healing from last surgery.

I know where you are coming from.
Mine is thin but real thin on top i do a comb to the side worked for a few days.
I thought body might work,but i agree i think the only way is a short messed up just got out of bed look.lol
My problem is my face is fat and my hair covers some of it,but to get it to look half way decent have to spend half hour with the curling iron.
Let me know what you choose,i might copy you.lol jk

or
keep your same length and maybe get a wavy perm that you can scrunch

I bet your hairstylist could recommend something good too - especially if he has been doing your hair for a while - he would know what would be best for it.

The short "Pixie" cut would be gorgeous on you!  Your eyes would really pop!  So pretty! With the short, choppy bangs.  Victoria Beckham has a pixie cut now.  That would be adorable on you!  I would do a pretty caramel blonde too.  Coloring your hair adds some thickness too.
You look so good!!!  How inspiring you are to all of us too!!

I forgot one thing. I found a wonderful volumizing product. it is Volumizer by Matrix. I get mine at Great Clips and it workd wonderful and DOES NOT feel like you have a ton of product in your hair.

thanks ladies, I was thinking of the short choppy cut, i can't get a perm, it burns my hair up, no matter who does it, I have had several perms from salons, and they all burn!!  i need tons of volume, and I use 3 different products at a time, just to try and get volume!!!

I wear my hair short now, but will do something more dramatic like the one just posted when my face is thinner again.
I LOVE short hair dramatic cuts.
When I grow my hair out..... I am so bad, I just put it back.
