My Best Friend is Having WLS Today!

My best friend, Iman, is having WLS today in Baltimore, MD.   She is having the RNY so please keep her in your thoughts.

Her surgery is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm eastern time!!!   Which is RIGHT NOW!!!!!

She is also listed as one of my friends on OH.
I am soooo pumped and excited for her, but I really hope she doesn't hate me for the next few days!  I know she won't regret it but we all know how sore she will be!  If I become best friend-less, you will all know why!  LOL

Thanks ladies.  I am still waiting to hear from her mother.  I have already left 2 voice messages so I hate to keep calling.   lol     I am more excited for her than I was for myself!

Finally got some news!
Her surgery was scheduled for 2:30 today.  They didn't take her into OR until 4pm.

About an hour ago, I got a call from Iman's mother Afaf, she says Iman did well in surgery and in recovery.  Iman was waking up and getting ready to be moved to her room.

I will call Iman tomorrow evening to follow-up.  I am sure she will want to sleep alot the first 24hrs!

Leslie it's awesome for her to start her new journey, and it is even better that she has you for support, and know what she is going through, you can be theshoulder she has  to lean on, lol.
