OT: Letter to the Doctor
When I wrote my letter to the doctor telling him why I wanted my surgery. Some of my reasons were that I couldn't fit comfortably in an airplane seat, couldn't fit in a theater seat, had to sit at a table in a restaurant because I couldn't fit in a booth and I wanted to see my grandchilden. I knew this wouldn't happen at the rate I was going. But, if everything is okay, I should be seeing my first grandchild in September. My son and his wife told me she was pregnant yesterday. And now, I'll actually feel like playing with the baby instead of no energy for anything.

Thanks everyone. I am looking so forward to this. I will love having a baby around again. It's been a long time since my son was little. And, yes, this is the first grandchild on either side. So this baby will be spoiled rotten. I'm going to love spoiling it and sending it home. Isn't that what grandparents do??? See, I'm learning already.
And I'm thankful I had this surgery because now I can run and play with it when it gets older. If I hadn't had it, I wouldn't be able to.
