I don't have any suggestions on the first two questions. I tried step aerobics at the gym and it kicked my butt.
I'm stuck in a rut with veggies and dip for a snack except I did find chocolate chex mix that has 100 calorie bags that I love. The store can't keep them in stock so obviously someone else likes them too.
But I can answer the zumba question. Zumba is a cardio workout based on latin dance. I take classes but my instructor said that if we have to miss class, you can go to zumba.com and order their videos which is simular to our class. She said the first night that you burn between 700-1000 calories for an hour workout. One of my firends in the class wears a watch that records her heart rate and her calories burned. It registers around 525 every time we meet. Sort of like a latin line dance. If anyone is in Glasgow on a Monday night, I can take you to class for free once if you want to try it.

Haven't done any step aerobics in a LONG time.......
Zumba - have heard it is wonderful but haven't tried it. I vote you to be a guinea pig and let us know! lol
Snacks - now we're talking:
Nuts
Cheese cubes
Slim a Bear ice cream sandwiches (100- calories and no sugar added!)
Ham roll ups (slice of ham, spread cream cheese on it, place a green onion in it and roll it up, put in the fridge to let it firm up, then cut into bite size pieces)
I'm still faithful to Kay's Natural Protein pretzels and chips
I recently tried a new granola flavored Slimfast Protein bar (190 cal and 15 g protein)
