A new approach...
I'm thinking I'll be MUCH more likely to make it through a day if I know going into it what I'll be eating so here's my menu for tomorrow:
B: StarBECK's Skinny Cini Dulce Latte
L: 2 egg salad (w/ lite mayo, mustard and pickle relish)
S: 15 Turkey peperoni slices and a string cheese
D: Leftover corned beef and cabbage
S: Hot Chocolate (S/F CIB)
I'll do the math later and see what those totals will be....may have to adjust but I think it's in range.
I am also going to the YMCA for my full workout and I'll get ATLEAST 64 ounces of fluid in!
So, what are YOUR plans for tomorrow??

Oh you are good - and that is a very good idea.
B - coffee with sugar free full fat creamer, oatmeal with whole cream, brown sugar splenda and walnuts
S - protein shake
L- One slice of bread with 3-4 oz ham and mayo
S- protein shake
D - pork tenderloin, escalloped potatoes and salad with ranch dressing
S - popcorn or another protein shake
I would love to know what hot chocolate you are using
I don't have to do lowfat but no sugar is very important

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

Hey Vick,
I use the No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast. It comes in 3 flavors but I only buy the Chocolate. Look down the cereal aisle close to the oatmeals. It's not with the coffee/tea/cocoa stuff.
It's 60 calories before you add it with anything. When made with 1% milk I get 13 grams of protein, 24gr carbs, 4gr fiber and 3gr fat. Since I don't use the protein mixes anymore this is my way to boost the protein count if I'm a little off mark by the end of the day.
It tatses great with no "hint" of whey.
What brands of powder do use use for protein? Do you get them local or online? I haven't found any that I can honestly say I like yet.

I use Champion Chocolate and Banana Scream they mix up without grit or lumps and don't need a blender - I get them from Vitalady.com but can be purchased at Vitamin Shoppe on Shelbyville Road. I would be happy to give you a few samples though if you want to try it.

Wow! You gals are GOOD! The only surefires thing for me Friday is skinny cinni dulce latte this morning and nf Chai later. Posted on Daily Plate yesterday, Thursday, and will try to get the hang of it. Lunch today at friend's house in Bardstown with a couple of hours of Rook (just like we did back in high school). Then it's on the road to Indy to see the newlyweds. Posting ahead will be easier when I get back into the groove next week going back to work. Have a great Friday, all!
Ahhh.....best laid plans can go awry with just one well-intentioned phone call!!
OK, so my friend just called and asked if Gracie and I wanted to go ice skating this afternoon. I told her yes since I'm sure Gracie would have fun and it is her last day off before heading back to school on Monday. What that means for me though is that I either have to fore go my trip to the YMCA today replacing it with a lighter workout on the ice (holding Gracie upright) or go later this evening.
It's also going to wreck my food plan but I can turn that around I think!
I can take my pepperoni and string cheese snack for my first solid meal since it's more portable and do the egg salad later in the afternoon. I will stop and get a REAL Starbucks skinny latte on the way to sip while there since it's frigid at that rink. The extra calories/carbs/protein will just have to be plugged into fitday and see how I do. OK, so i'll be hyped up on 2 coffees in one day, that's just that much more enrgy to use at the gym right?
