No restriction........

Well I realized something today... I definately do not have the LEAST bit of restriction... After eating a WHOLE lot and snacking on everything.. I'm so upset with myself.... I put on 2 lbs over xmas and I know probably 2 more over this last set of company... I thought I was doing so well with listening to my body... UGh it's so upsetting... I'm looking forward for this week to be OVER and company gone so I can get back to "my routine"  I can't tell you how much chocolate I've shoved in my mouth. I seem to do the best when I'm by myself in my normal little world.. UGH this sucks..
Next fill January 15th...

All of us do!  I know I do better when I am on schedule and in my routine.  I hate that too, I really like staying home in my pajamas all day eating.  But because i am so naturally lazy I really NEED that routine to keep me moving and doing good.  Don't be too hard on yourself, I think most of us here are feeling the same way!
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

Routine is a GOOD thing!  It's mighty hard though when you don't have restriction and every direction you turn there's holiday goodies!

I did fairly well getting back on track Monday and Tuesday but yesterday evening took care of THAT headway I'd made!

Today was pretty ugly as far as food choices go too (confession....as I was reading your post I was just finishing a handful of Baked Lays)!   I started out this morning with the plan to make a healthy crustless quiche for brunch but a bellyaching hubby decided it wouldn't be any good unless it had a crust AND we used real eggs .  I should have just told him to suck eggs and made it my way anyway but I'm still easily swayed since my resolve is not yet cemented.

Tonight we are having corned beef and cabbage which isn't too aweful if I stay away from the new potatoes.

Richard has to work tomorrow so I'm planning on taking advantage of it getting back on track.  I'll pitch the last of the unhealthy junk, make a daily menu and get to the gym for my workout.

I have an appointment on the 13th and that's my goal date to have the 5-ish pounds I've packed on, back off by then.

So when does the last of the company leave and what day are you climbing back aboard?

I'll throw out a life preserver If ya need it!

Sandi don't get discouraged! Its taken me 6 fills to get some restriction! I felt like you do. Remember when we went to eat after the last fill and I had no problem with that shrimp and salad? Well.....about a week and a half later is when my restriction kicked in. I was shocked. i called Dr A and they don't know why that happened but then nothing has been normal in this band journey for me.....lol  Its coming.......I promise you!  I fixed pizza for everyone tonight and picked out a special white pizza with thin crust just for me(12") . I ate two slices with double toppings and was done. Jay C (Kroger) brand with chicken, onion, cheese, and ceasar salad dressing. It was so good. Eveyone else devoured it!  I am trying to get back on track with my food choices. It won't happen overnight, but it will and has improved!

Sandi don't over stress, you know the band doesn't restrict chocolate.  We are all recovering.
