slowly waking out of food coma

OMG people the last week and half has been a haze -

Despite my valiant efforts to consume all the cookies in the house there are still some lurking about.  The 5 lb box of chocolate candy still exists after everyone's efforts to make it disappear.  

I started to feel rather guilty about my behavior.... then I came to realize that no matter how bad I've been it has not been anywhere near what it was like in the past.  I can chose the wrong foods and eat too much of them but my quantities are limited and my malabsorption is still helping. 

So, thanks to my surgery for picking up where my willpower leaves off.  I am ready to behave myself again.  Goodbye cookies and candy - you are all going in a bag to be sent off to work with Dreamsicle tomorrow morning so I can get these last pesky pounds off and reach my goal.

So what are we fixing for New Years Day?

I know what you mean there was cookies and cheesecake and food everywhere i went.
I just walked past it til last night my cousin brought my dad fudge and left it at my house,i took alittle nibble off of peice and omg i felt like i had drank a whole bottle of jack by myself my head spinning and etc.
I lookat Neil and said that crap wasnt worth it, i will from now on band it from my house,he just laughed and walked away......................
I have decided none of us need it and i dont want the boys to be heavy and non healthy like i was so thats are new years resoultion no fast food or junk for anyone..

New Year's day?

Corned beef and cabbage, of course!!

Maybe a crustless quiche in the morning if I can find a recipe I like by then.

I was considering chicken and dumplings for dinner since that's Gracie's FAV but it's not light in the carb department by any means to I nixed it!
