update on appeal

The insurance company has had my appeal since December 5. I called this morning (I have called so many times since sending out my appeal) and the lady told me that they are suppose to have the clinical decision today and for me to call back later today--they close at 7. So I will when I get home. But until then, I am so nervous and scared. I don't want to be denied again. I have prayed so hard to be approved this time. I did everything they wanted the first time. Could it be a good sign that they have taken this long to make a decision? The first time I had the denial letter in two weeks. I hate to say it, but what if they deny me again? Then what??? My husband changed jobs and we will be going to Cobra in January. Right now it is Highmark BCBS of PA. They said it would be the same insurance that we would have to make the payments directly. Anyone have any input in this? I am seriously going crazy over this.

Connie continuing Cobra is a good thing that way there will be no interuption in your coverage and keeping the same coverage prior to cobra.  Hoping for the best that you get approved after this appeal.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Saying a prayer that you are approved sooner than later.  I wonder if they are waiting for Jan. 1 to approve you.  So you would have to start your deducatable over?  Maybe?
