Hi Holly..
Yes I sure did! Do we know one another? I started my career as a bariatric nurse almost 8 years ago with Dr. Bolar at Georgetown and he did my gastric bypass. He chose to leave Georgetown to move to a larger town and I didn't want to leave Georgetown so I stayed. We them recruited Dr. Weiss and Dr. Oldham to Georgetown and I worked with them for 5 years. And I was then recruited by the same CEO that brought bariatric surgery to Georgetown, and who was now at Somerset. When I heard Dr. Husted was moving from San Francisco, it was like a dream come true. Georgetown and Somerset are sister hospitals in the Lifepoint hospital system so I transeferred. I was at a standstill in my growth capabilities due to the limited surgeries being offered in the state of KY. Husted brought some exciting new surgery options to KY and I wanted to be in on the atest advancements and surgical options. As a nurse, I am always intrigued with the latest technology to help me grow in my nursing speciality.
Have a great holiday!
