diet coke

    has anyone who as had lap band able to drink diet soda's if so didyou do ok with it

 I drink diet vanilla cherry dr. pepper.  I must let it get flat 1st.  If your dr. has not oked it .  It might be very painful.  I waited until my doc said it was okay.  I only have a caffine carbionated drink once a week.

I don't do diet soda but I can tell ya this...Dr A will not okay you to drink soda. i cannot remember what in it does it...but it eats away at the interior or your stomach lining and can lead to band problems. Dr Tanner told us about it in one o our most recent meetings.

Drs. Weiss and Oldham just say NO to carbonated drinks diet or otherwise.  So I don't drink them.
