OT Becka this made me think of you

The one thing I do for myself... however vain or as I prefer, self preserving it may be... I get my nails done.  Its an hour.. usually less where I can forget my troubles and relax and just be "girly"


For some reason the RED... actually Rudolph Red ( that is the name of the color of polish )made me think of Becka. Being the hot chick you are.  And the red is sparkly like your personality too!  Wouldn't this color look great with your One-derwoman costume!!!!
I really like the snowflake I have on each of my thumbs too.  
I feel happy just looking at them.  Doesn't take much to make me happy huh guys???!!!!

Wow!  So pretty!

Pretty Leah.   Nails is one thing I haven't given up I get them done and it makes me feel more girly.  

 I love to get my nails done too.  Just can't aford it every week.  It is what i do when I'm unhappy instead of eating.  At Thanksgiving my daughter broke up with the boy she was planning to marry next summer.  SO we both went and got our nails done.  We felt better after and picked similar colors.

I used to get mine done all the time.. The Acrylics... Now I can't tolerate them.. after about the 2nd fill there so paper thin and they just burn when they are drilling them..lol

Those look so pretty! I love nails...just wish I could let mine grow out. I am a nail biter...always have been.....must be an oral fixation! Lol

I LOVE LOVE LOVE a nice set of acrylic nails!  I just hate the process more!

I wish I wasn't such a big baby.  It's been over a year since I've had a full-set and my nailbeds are grown out.  I'd hate to have to start all over again when I decided the drill was too much for me again.

You've inspired me though....I'm getting a freash mani-pedi right before Christmas!  Is that color an OPI??

I went for over a year without having the acrylics.  I gave in about 3 months ago.  I hate having my nail bed ground on too.  But I made sure they didn't do it too much.  I just asked.  I love the way they look though.  And so much stronger than my nails are.
It is an OPI color... Rudolph Red. 

Becka do you go to like the asian nail salons, if so that is why it hurts and the drilling.   I dont not use asian nail salons cause of the way they do the nails and the products they use.  My girl is very good and she does not use tips, she free hands and sculpts the nails. 

I have never experienced a drilling incident since I have been going to her and I been going for over 5 years now.
