Are you kidding me!
ok...so i am desperate for clothes right now and refuse to buy anything new! So on a whim I stopped at goodwill today (as I do every other day) to check to see if they have any pants I can fit into. I started this journey wearing a tight 32 in pants and a 5x in tops. Well I found a pretty black sweater but it was a size 22/24. I got it in hopes I could get into it by next fall....it was $1. Then I go to the pants...they have all sizes except a 28 or 30. I can wear 28 in jeans..a bit snug...or a 30 very loose. Screwy huh? All in the gut! Well I found a nice pair of black dress slacks for $1 and looked at the tag....24! Well poop! I went ahead and got them as well with the same hopes as the sweater....next fall. Well....I got home and showed Dale my great $2 outfit.He asked me to try it on and I just laughed and said right! I knew it would not fit! So I figure...ok...I will show him so he can see how much more I need to lose to wear these sizes......
Well....the joke was on me...they both fit! I almost hit the floor! Now why can't I wear jeans in this size? They had all kinds of them! I know manufacturers vary in their sizing...but dang!
Maybe after my tri monthly visitor leaves the bloating will be gone and then I will go try on more stuff there!

WooHoo!!! Way to go Lee Ann. Nothing feels as good as trying on something smaller and it fitting. And finding the whole outfit for $2.00 is amazing.
I know exactly what you're saying about the jeans though. I'm in a 20 pant and a tight 22 jean. Don't understand why dress pants fit and I have to have a size or two bigger jean.
