Good Rainy Morning!

Why am I smiling???? Better rain then snow! i am trying to get together last minute stuff for tonight. Vicki I have the napkins (red and green striped) if you have plates. I have my baked goodies ready to go...trying to get the rest of my garb together. i am meeting Leah in Scottsburg and then we are heading down. I sooo need this night out! Hope everyone can make it! I am off to the post office to get stamps and mail my cards out. With friends, family , etc...I have about 75 going out. Whew! I am also going to pay on a layaway for the girls christmas. I have to try to get to the mall at some point to get a sweater for Sarah! Then she is done! Aubrey and Braedyn are done as well. Except their yearly ornaments. Aubrey is going to get Braedyn's christmas this weekend as well. Her first time to do this. She already found his ornament. Glad to see she understands and wants to do this for her own child. It shows me it meant something to her that we did it.  Well....see you all in a few hours!    

I have the dessert plates ready to go and a couple of plastic knives for the cheese spread I am bringing.   see you all later

I wi**** was snowing instead of raining.... Sorry Lee Ann... Just Kidding!!   the devil made me do it!!! 
I am so looking forward to hanging out with some of you tonight. 
Lee Ann, I pick my daughter up at Seymour High School at 3:30-3:45.  I have to drop her off at home in Crothersville and then I will be on my way to meet you in Scottsburg. 
I am making the faux rice krispie treats for the meeting/get together tonight.  I was almost having a panic attack just buying the mini marshmallows!!!  I swear I could smell them in the store! 
I just got home from the YMCA where I did my cardio and weight machines. Tomorrow I am doing the water aerobics again.  I really liked doing that.  Plus getting in that pool is just relaxing for me... its 91 degrees... ahhhhhh  

Well off to the kitchen to conjure up the goodies for tonight.  Lets all say a prayer to give me strength from popping marshmallows into my mouth!!!!   

Praise be... I did NOT pop any marshmallows into my mouth!!!!  Wooooo hooooooo!!!  It wasn't easy but I made it!!!

  And the faux rice krispie treats are cooling off. 

If anyone wants the recipe... just send me a message on here and I will gladly send them to you.... Or you might want to wait until we taste them tonight.... either way....

I would rather have the snow too.........

But it looks like Eastern KY is in for some good rain today.

Lisa....we would love to meet you up there somewhere on Sunday! I am assuming Neil will be with you! Let me know then when and where!  We try to go out and have dinner without the kids once during the holiday season...that is our gift for each other at Christmas.
