Hello
Hello Everyone,
I have yet to post to this site, but I read everyones post daily, you all seem to be such a great bunch of people. I have read all your progress and my HATS off to each and everyone of you.
My journey has just begun. I have ran upon a few road blocks to slow my progress down, but I am keeping the faith on the road to a better healthy me.
I wanted to stop in and say hello to you all, and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and better New Year.
God Bless you all

Hello, Cathy! I'm Kelly...I don't get to post everyday, but I do try to check in every week or so. I'm really just starting out as well. My insurance requires 6 months weight loss efforts with my family doctor. I am on month 3. I did just meet with the surgeon, though, on Friday. Dr. Geller says I should have band surgery in April. I know that will be here sooner than later, so I'm just holding steadfast to the goal. Don't give up! Roadblocks are just hurdles set there to see how determined you are. Be Determined!!

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

JUST STAY DETERMINED!!! i STARTED MY JOURNEY IN OCT 06, AND FINALLY HAD SURGERY FEB. OF 08, SO JUST DON'T GIVE UP, IT MAY TAKE AWHILE, BUT JUST HANG IN THERE, AND GET USED TO THINGS YOU NEED TO DO, LIKE QUIT DRINKING SODA, IF YOU DO THAT NOW, I HAVEN'T HAD SODA IN 1 1/2 YEARS NOW, START TESTING THE PROTEIN DRINKS, ETC. GOOD LUCK, AND LIKE BECKA SAID COME HERE AND BELLACHE, I KNOW I HAVE COMPLAINED ENOUGH AND IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER JUST TO GET IT OUT!! LISA
