I have heard this so many times but today I experienced it - and you get to hear about it because my Mom is in Mexico and everyone I know is sick of hearing about it!
My extra larges are getting too big and I needed a new pair of jeans so I ordered a size 14 from Ann Taylor. They arrived today. They were too big! I took them back to the store for an exchange and got a 12 - Holy Freakin Frijoles - they fit! Not only do they fit but they look reaaally good! My scale has moved less this month than ever and I was so discouraged. So newbies - when you hear it believe it - it's true! I haven't worn a size 12 anything for at least 20 years. WOW
Even better - after I was done I had to go into Lane Bryant to get a gift certificate for my step-mother for Christmas. I was still on my "I went down a size" high and the sales lady got to hear my vapid ramblings. I could feel the hate coming from the other side of the register. She just doesn't realize I was bigger than her just a few months ago. She'd be vapid too if she'd gone from a 24 to a 12 in less than 8 months.
Oh God, I really love my DS tonight!

Looks like Santa is going to really be good to you- you may just have to shinny down the chimney just because you can. Can't you get a gift certificate for yourself and give all your baggy clothes to your stepmother?!!
