My regular drs. app. today

I had to go in for a check-up today. Well the nurse calls me in to weigh me, take my blood pressure all that good stuff. Well I step on the scale and she moves the lil weight over to 330. Nope that wasn't right, so she moves it to 320, nope thats not right either so she moved it to 300 and again that wasn't right. I told her on the scale at my house I was at 279. She moved it to the 280's and on their scale I'm at 284. She was amazed ! She was like how have you lost that much. I said I had the gastric bypass in October. She said OCTOBER I was like yeah.
Then she wanted to know what my stomache looked like after having the surgery done so I pulled up my shirt and showed her. I guess she was thinking I had an open RNY. The nurse told me she was proud of me.
My dr. is also very pleased with me. I no longer have to take blood pressure meds ! And I follow up in a month. She wants to check my blood pressure and see how much more weight I have lost by then.
She also ask if I would reccomend the surgeons for the WLS. I told her most deffentially ! I must be one of the first patients she has reffered to KDMC. But she usually sends her other patients to the KDMC surgeons if a surgery has to be done.
