January gathering of the great ones!
Okie Dokie y'all!!
I'd like to once again extend an invitation to my friends and their families on here (those I have and have not yet met) to share my home for a social gathering.
If anyone is interested in coming out for a bonfire and chili supper with Mr. Entertainment and ONEder woman, we'd LOVE to have ya!
I was thinking we could plan on Saturday, January 17th. We'll have a big bonfire with chili and hot dogs. In the house we have billiards and 2 big screen TV's. We could also try our hands at Mexican train dominoes or poker if anyone is interested. Heck, I might even get the Twister game out for Dawn!
I'll offer to make a huge pot of chili along with hot dogs and the sinful S'mores for the bonfire. Maybe y'all could bring a type of dessert (with recipes) that we could all sample? Coffee and
Crystal light are always on tap around here but if you have any spouses or kids who drink sugared drinks ya might have to bring that.
Let me know what you guys think as that date is not set in stone.
Also, WE LOVE to meet new people so even if you are new, pre-surgery, from BFE or one of the beautiful people please consider coming and hanging out with us regulars if at all possible!!

lol when I first told Bob a few weeks ago about the Chili Bonfire get together he said too cold for him he is a weiny he gets cold easy, but when I just read him this and his eyes and ears perked up like a bloodhound when you mentioned billards and poker and even dominoes. lol.
I think it will be great fun who knows we may need something like this winter cause we may end up with a lot of cabin fever if the weather now is a indication of worse to come this winter.

that sounds like great fun! I would love to come - who cares if the family wants to or not I either drag them along or leave them in my dust, ha! I am so sure the kids would love a bonfire and they both loved Richard. Hmmm dessert - does everyone here do locarb? mostly? do you guys do lofat to/or not?

Low carb/fat? What's that???????? Just kidding! I will be there for sure and am planning on even bringing Mr B...he will be my date! The 17th is already reserved for you guys! I love these get togethers adn as always..thanks to you guys for hosting! Poker huh?....Better wear lots of layers of clothes then!

That sounds like so much fun. I don't know about it...but I will try to work on the hubby. He is recooperating from surgery 5 and kinda (and justifiibly so) grumpy and isn't up to much. Another fun game that even the kids can play is attack uno. We all end up laughing our tails off.
Maybe I will make it, but one way or another...thanks for the invite.
