Surgery Dec 19 - I'm new too

I am also new to the group! Just had Lap-Band on 12-3-08. Been a rough few days but getting better each day!

Hi Cindy and welcome to our little family!

Of the two Norton's meetings my FAVORITE is the Downtown meeting.  I do try to go to the Suburban meeting too when I can but more for socialization....LOL....if too many of the gals on here decide to skip that one I usually do too!

You'll find a lot of Shina patients on here...

Thank you to everyone *****sponded - I am overwhelmed by the support !  I hope to get to know you all better as time goes by - and perhaps we'll actually meet at one of the support groups someday.  I will try to reply to each of you separately later, but for now, thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers and good luck to all of you too!

  Cindy, I just read your post and wanted to give you a hello and welcome aboard the Board.  It sounds like you are giving yourself a great gift for this time of year in getting the weight loss surgery.  I wish you the very best and hope to meet you soon.  As for the support meetings, I favor the downtown Nortons, but Suburban is closer to home for me, and it too is good.  I also live in Fern Creek and hope to meet up with you in days ahead.  Sounds like you're going to be busy with your procedures but know that we are here for you and hope you'll join us at support group and/or online often!!
