Correction..It Snowed!

Ok...our county has to have the suck suck suckiest road crew in creation! I had to travel to an area out in BFE and yep...you guessed it! Right off the road and into a ditch head first! Scared the crap out of Aubrey and me both! Thanks God I made her go with me! She tried to push...No Luck! I got out and ended up having to shovel out 1 and 1/2 feet of leaves and snow and pull limbs out from underneath the front. the ground literally was up to the bottom of my doors when I went to get out. i tried to walk around the van to do the same to the passenger tire and started to  fall/slide down the freaking hill/road we were hanging off of. I was able to grab the bumper underside and catch myself. if I had not have been so scared I swear I would have been laughing my a$$ off! We got back in the van and were able to get backed out of the ditch and back around the curve we lost control on by staying on the shoulder with the right side of the van. My daddy taught me well huh!  Aubrey and and I are both having muscle cramps! lol....did not realize what a workout we were going to get when we left the house today! I asked Dale to look at the underside to make sure I did not tear anything up. He said there was no way we went into a ditch because there was no dirt on the van....Ok....so the snow and slush were not going to touch any of this on the way back home just so I would have proof this really happened?! Come on! He thinks we either went out to eat or shopping! Like what am I suppose to use for money? Hello...I am broke jacka$$! We could not even get a signal to call anyone for help. You know what I told him...good thing I know how much I can depend on you and your care and concern.  Now he just went to get a gal of milk and used my van. He just called and told me there is something wrong with the driver's side wheel on my van. In the front. he wanted to know how big the limb was that I went over. Hmmmmm...what limb? What ditch...I was shopping remember!

It caught the road crews off guard over here for a bit as well.  I decided to go to Kohl's around one this afternoon, leaving Richard and Gracie home alone since Richard apparently has PMS and was being a real BUTTHEAD over missing poker with the guys this morning because a school activity for Gracie ran long......wah, wah, wah.....welcome to parenthood.

Anyway, in the 7 miles drive from our house to Kohl's was messy and SLOW!  I counted 7 cars off the road in that distance!  On the way home though the roads were clear!  Life was grand until I got home and DICK Talley was still there!

We went out again to the Harley Store a little later to see about replacing Richard's riding boots and DICK Talley decided they were all too expensive and wouldn't even look at them.  Well no **** sherlock, It's HD and nothing is cheap in here!!  Still doesn't give you permission to be a BUTTHEAD.  Forgive me for wanting you to have QUALITY boots that will protect your feet and hold up for more than one season.

We came home and he decided he wanted to put the tree up (he was sucking up at this point).....umm, you've never gotten rid of the EXTRA entertainment center or the EXTRA big screen that's taking up all my free space in the living room....where do you want me to put it??  I had a couple of suggestions but resisted the urge to tell him......

Glad to hear you and Aubrey are OK and Mr. Sunshine figured out you weren't cruisin the square for young boys (you're such a Cougar!!). 

Richard....I mean, Dick.... can just bite my shrinking butt tonight!  I don't care if he's done being mad now, I'm just getting started!

I think soaking in a hot bath with a spiked drink and a good book sounds divine on a cold snowy night, you?

Lol...well tell Richard...aka Dick...I have a great place in my living room for a tv if he wants to donate it to charity! lol....

Book+bubbles+booze=BLISS!!!!

 Hell, come north  I have a hot tub and bar.  Dan makes an excellent waiter.  He did last night while my sister and I drank a bottle of wine.  Then had baileys and coffee (Deacaf) It wasn't all bad.  

My hot tub holds 8 so come up...in the snow is the best time.

Hot tub at Amy's with BYOB and we can mix it up and have a bubbley boozy slumber party and all of us will just crash at Amy's!

I haven't mentioned it online yet but I called dibs on the January gathering a while back.  I think your hot tub suggestion would be KILLER for February though....

DICK is going to put the older projection big screen TV in the basement and my mom and dad are getting the old entertainment units.  The new TV is too big for it so we HAD to get a new one of those too (Becka played that one too well!)  The one that's in the basement now is going to our bedroom. After we play musical TV's around the house we'll be getting rid of a 19 inch TV.  Not sure what the plan for it is though.

I have a hubby I can donate for a limited period of time though....

 

all I can say is that you ladies crack me up!!! I hope next spring we can all get together, maybe Leslie, Katrina, Holli and I can come down that way and meet all of you, you all sound like my kind of people, lol. Lsa

Lisa we have talked about trying to get down your way or maybe just west of ya and have a get together. That way we can meet and great with all you guys! We figured everyone has traveled up here...maybe we can take our turn on the road!
