Ok, I finally got all of my papers together along with the appeal letter I wrote and the one my Dr. wrote. Please say a little prayer for me to get approved this time. I need all the help I can get. I really want this surgery. I have been working on all of this since April. Nikki at the Weight Loss center cannot understand why they denied me. She takes care of the file and submitting to the insurance and she said my notes were fine......hmmmmm....I can't understand it either. But, they did denied me and the appeal stuff is on its way to Highmark BCBS. They guarantee a written answer in 30 days from receiving my appeal. So, hopefully I will know something by the end of the year. I promise not to moan and groan about it anymore. I will stay positive from now on.
