3) I am thankful for my job teaching young children .....they help you realize what REALLY matters in this life.
4) I am blessed that my family is healthy and loves me unconditionally. Especially my DH who has had some.
5) I am also thankful for the friends I have made on OH.

Of the many things I'm thankful for this year (I won't bore y'all with the whole list) two stand out the most.
1) I am abundantly thankful for all my WLS friends both online and IRL. You guys truly make a difference in my life
2) I am thankful for all that my husband does to ensure that his business remains constant and we have not yet been effected by this down swing in the economy. We are blessed and very lucky and we know it. This is something we simply don't take for granted.
Here's my quick list of some other things:
Good health for all three of us, my secret weapon (band), for my decision to go back to church after many years of being gone so that Gracie will have the proper influences!

good post - thanks to you first of all for thinking of it
not necessarily in order
1- thankful that G-d has chosen to bless me the way he has and even more thankful that He is there for me constantly guiding me
2- thankful that we still have jobs and that our lives are still as normal as they can be during this time of recession
3- thankful that I get to spend so much time with my parents, I pray I never take this for granted
4- thankful that I am afforded the ability to be with my children for so much of their lives (thank husband for that), and that I have so much time to be home to pursue my personal interests (thank hubby for that too)
5- really I am thankful for Dr. Inman, my health insurance and my DS, I live a completely different life now as compared to last year this time. I can bend over to tie a shoe or put on my underwear and breathe at the same time, I can walk all over DisneyWorld for a week without stopping. I have more energy for the things in life I just ignored previously (hubby thankful for that
). I don't worry about the same things I worried about this time last year either - actually, as far as my health goes I don't worry about anything. I don't even worry about continuing to lose weight. I just "know" my DS is still working for me and trust it to do its thing.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

I really like the post idea also.
I am thankful for:
1. My family(daughter, nephew, the immediate family)
2. My not-so-immediate family (ex-husband, ex-in laws, Trina, Donna, friends at work)
3. God allowing me to have a profession which is secure in this economy of today.
4. My friend Trina being there and supporting me through the whole WLS journey.
Happy Thanksgiving, Kellie

Well...after alot of thinking I think I have finally come up with this list.
First I am thankful that God has stood by me and carried me so much throughout my life. I have faltered and been forgiven more times than is possible. I may not go to church and swear like a sailor, but he is first and foremost in my life and understands me.
Secondly I am thankful that I was able to be there for the birth of my grandson and that God saved him just for us! He is loved completely and unconditionally..yes even when he pulls my hair out! I am thankful for my family. Even though it has been a roller coaster ride...the girls are awesome young women that grow stronger each day. They are healthy and what keeps me going! Mr Sunshine...I am glad he is there for Braedyn and healthy as he can be. I am blessed to still have my mother with me and my sisters, step mom, and the rest of my family and that we are together on the holidays!
Thirdly...I am thankful that I learned to take care of my family through the rough times and keep a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs as well as food on the table. My mother was a great teacher.
Lastly...I am thankful for all of you. You saved me and gave me hope when I was ready to call this band a failure. You encouraged me to get answers and get it fixed. You have brought me out of my shell (which some may not think was a great idea) and have been the greatest support to me through all the trials and tribulations in my life. Even though my choices in food and men aren't the best...you never judge and are compassionate. Thanks you for that. Thanks you for making this birthday the best I have had since I was little! I have never felt so cared for by so many people! You guys are truly my friends and I want you to know I appreciate each and every one of you!

Nancy, thank you for this post. I know you have had more than your share of death of loved ones this year, but it is obvious that your Faith and family have brought you through many trials and that they continue to strengthen and bless you, When I first read this early this morning, your post, & responses from Becka, Vicki, and Teach, I was so touched I could not find the words to write, but I'd like to try to do so now.
I am blessed beyond measure. I am so thankful for parents who loved me and brought me up to know God through His Son. I am thankful that I saw in my parents what it means to serve the Lord and to love others. I miss them very much and lately have sensed there ongoing influence and even presence in my life.
I am thankful for my precious Bill, without him, I cannot imagine living this life. He is a wonderful husband, father and granddad, and my best friend.
I am thankful my my precious sons, DIL and soon to be DIL and of course little Ellie & Mia, my sisters & other family- these precious ones have made my life complete.
I am thankful for my country and the military that serve to keep us free as well as helping those around the world who are oppressed and longing for freedom. Even with all our problems, there's nowhere in the world like the USA,
Like many of you, I could go on and on. Let me close with I am thankful for my friends both new and old who have listened, laughed and cried with me on this journey we call life. I hope I have somehow been a blessing to them as well.
Praying today for a miracle for our niece's husband who has been taking radiation treatments for cancer. Today, they should be getting a report as to how well this has worked. Also praying for Dawn and her mother-in-law and others here who have recently requested prayer. Thank you Kentuckiana OH friends for being a blessing to my life. Happy Thanksgiving!
