OT:Anyone want a cat?
Miley is not going to be staying as a part of our family. Yes she is very loving to us, ppl, in the house but she's mean to all 4 other cats and both lil dogs. She will not let the other cats eat if they come around while she's eating. She'll make a good pet as long as she's the only cat, animal. Last night Gizmo walked by her and she swiped at him and made him bleed. If I was a cruel person I would have tossed her out last night. I'll never have anymore kids more than likely and our furry kids are kids to us just like James and Allison. He was BLEEDING! I put her on petfinder.com immediately. If he had been trying to mess with her, barking at her, or just aggravating her then I could see her swiping at him, but he just walked by. All the animals just walk by and it sounds like a mountain lion growling. Shes small compared to the other cats and dogs. Bear Bear and Gizmo aren't very big at all. All of my cats are bigger than them. Miley is a sweet and pretty brown tabby but she's going to have to find another home to be sweet and pretty in. I will NOT take her to the pound cause they'll euthanize her after 7 days. I'm placing her in the paper Monday, free to a good home. She's been here several days now and does not socialize with the other cats at all. Someone dropped her off at Technoglass the other night and some dummy felt sorry for her and brought her home. I'll find her a home, but she ain't staying here. She's mean to my babies (the furry ones, she actually loves Adam and Allison to pieces) and I will NOT have a animal that is mean to other animals. So if any of u know of anyone who might not have any pets and would like a good lap cat (she loves laying in u're lap) let me know. She's on petfinder and Monday I'm calling the News Enterprise. She's really sweet and cute except when it comes to the other animals. She'll be a great pet for a family with no other pets. Let me know if u know of anyone who'd like to have her.
Thanks

Sorry your having a problem but its natural, she probably was on her own a while and this is her defense, I was in your same position a little over 2 weeks ago. I just got this new one back monday and we had a lot of growling and hissing going on. Its been a week almost and finally there is more peace in the house.
You might try to get hold of the Shamrock Foundation in Louisville they might take her.

Are they a no kill shelter? I won't send her anywhere that might euthanize her. We're actually big animal lovers around here. I just worry because she is so aggressive toward the other animals, not us ppl, but she hates animals. Our pets are pretty much all spoiled rotten babies. We carry our kittys around in our arms like big old babies, the dogs are the same way. Miley loves to be held and loves to be loved on, she just does NOT like other animals at all. Someone dropped her at my hubby's factory and of course, being a cat/dog lover, he brought her home. I expected a few days of hissing, growling, which is usual. I babysat my father in law's cat back in July for a weekend and there was hissing that first night but the next morning they were all buds and running around all over. I hope that I can find her a good, loving home because she is a sweetie...

They are a no kill foundation. I am very much a animal lover and in fact this kitten we just took in was abandoned in the neighborhood and I took her in. Since my daughter is very active with the local Humane Association they went ahead and got her fixed for me and all shots at the rate the humane shelter would have paid. I love her to death we carry all ours around like babies also.
