Great Wednesday morning all!
Good morning all. I hope everyone slept well. I really like Lee Anns post about really committing to loosing weight. I had my by-pass and lost 30 pounds and then went to a stand still. As soon as I had my re-check and Dr Allen said I could start on reg food instead of soups and broth , I went to reg food. True it is very small portions but, the calories are still there. I am staying away from sodas and ice cream and snacks but the weight is still hanging in there. I think it likes were it is and doesn't want to leave me.HaHa
Well everyone have a great day and God Bless You all.

hi Sharon!! I think your body has to catch up... so it will level out some then take a big dive... Im pretty sure that is how most RNY people do it... When you start back on reg food I think it causes a lil leveling in too

I agree with whats her name! Lol...Just kidding Dawn! I think you also need to up your water intake as well. I know that it makes a huge difference in my loss.
Hi Sharon,
I think the "drop 30 and stall" thing is VERY common. I read about it a lot on here. I belive my sister did the same thing after her RNY. In fact, her weight loss was fairly slow for 2 or 3 months and then things just took off for her! She's now about 18 months out and wearing size 4 jeans.
Don't fret too much and have patience. We are headed into the worst two months possible for weight loss....maybe you're scale will start moving again soon or at least after Christmas.
