I JUST GOT MY "PACKAGE" IN THE MAIL THAT I WAS DENIED.....I AM SO UPSET. HOW COULD THEY DENY ME??? I DID EVERYTHING THEY REQUESTED FOR 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!
I AM DIABETIC AND I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.......HOW COULD THE WLS NOT BE MEDICALLY NECESSARY???????????????

Yes, I can appeal it, but I wonder how long it would take to hear back from them. It took 2 weeks for this.

I'm not sure. I don't even know what all goes into doing an appeal.
When you first talked to the insurance did they tell you WLS was covered? And did they give you a reason why you were denied?

Don't give up hope yet.  That is what appeals are for.  Keep your head up.  In the end, you will get it!  Think Positive and Best of Luck!
