ACCOUNTABILITY: Diet and Exercise Tuesday Nov. 11, 2008
I know most of you are at the support group meeting tonight but I wanted to start the post anyway. Hope you all are having a great evening!!!!
Worked today. Have thought about all the men and women who have served or are serving our country and very thankful for them. I love being an American!
Starting to get tired as I have worked 8 days straight......and some long hours at that.
Getting some things together at home and hoping that everything else falls in place soon.
Today's Intake:
B: 1 slice toast w/ cheese and soy bacon
S: Single pack of Dorito's
S: Single pack of plain chips
L: 5 bite size of mini-crab cakes and yogurt
D: 3/4 c. cooked navy beans w/ bite of onion, 2 slices rye toast w/butter
S: ??? No idea yet ??? need some type of protein though!
Exercise: May go to the training center to walk later! Aiming for 2 miles.

I was doing good until I got hungry this afternoon but did not get totally out of whack. Need to exercise tonight since my carb intake is high. DH got sick last night, vomiting, wheezing and the like. He consumed an excess of sugar and had a bad reaction. After the vomiting he confessed to eating german chocolate cake before going to bed. Dr says he had a reflux reaction. Informed us that once a person has a stroke they don't swallow as good as in past and to not eat two hours before going to bed. All is well now but my nerves were shot all night. My band felt pity for me today and acted nicely.
