VET DAY

JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU ALL

Hi Becky, mind if I tack my sentiments onto your post??

Mr. Entertainment is a Desert Storm veteran.  I met him not long after he was discharged so I can only imagine the emotions and stress involved in having a loved one deployed or being the actual service member.  My respect and admiration go out to all military personel and their families today and every day!

Yesterday was the Marine Corp. 233rd birthday.  My daughters other half is a Marine.  MY hubby was a solider in the Army.  I think all employers should give their veteran employees the day off with pay.  Chris (My daughters other halfO kept asking what he was getting for his birthday, Hannah kept telling him its not until Jan.  I said he gets 2 birthdays.  SO for all the Vets and Marines out their Its your day enjoy and I thank you for your service. AMy

YES I AGREE all VETS should have the day off but I know my hubby works tonight he served in the USAF for 21 years now I say we are retired lol, I was there from the beginning when he first enlisted he got married then he joined the USAF,& IT IS SAD WE STILL HAVE TO WORK HAVE A GOOD DAY ALL

  Proud to be an American!  Thank you  to all who have served, or have stood by as your hubby, sweetheart, or other loved one served our country.  I remember my Dad today, who was in N. Africa and then Europe during WWII.  He loved the military and our country and was proud to serve.  My hubby was in at the heighth of the VietNam War, but remained stateside.  Several friends did not come home.... Again, thank you Veterans!!!
