Dr. Geller Patients
You might be a "one and only" since I really can't think of anyone on OH who is a Gellar patient AND a bandster. I have seen a couple of Gellars RNY patients on here though. What size band do you have though? Try researching the Inamed info as I've heard there are suggested fill levels for each size band.
I had Dr. Geller back when I had a LapBand....
He did not numb and he didn't use flouro unless he absolutely had to. He would go in, find the port and remove ALL of the fluid, then put back in what you have plus add whatever he is adding. I never had him add more than .3 - .5 at a time, best I can remember.

Hey, I finally started using my brain and called Dr. Geller's office!! He will put in 4cc and then if that is too much he will take out a little. But he won't do anymore than 4cc. Then I have to be on clear liquids for 2 days. She said I can eat a light breakfast that morning but I probably won't eat anything. I have lost 25 pounds without a fill so far but I do get pretty hungry, especially in the afternoons. I eat breakfast before work around 7 am and lunch is at 11. By the time I get off work at 3:15 I am usually pretty hungry. I try not to eat until at least 5 though. Anyway, hope to see you at the meeting next week. My fill will be just in time to save me from eating too much on Thanksgiving!!
