I am taking the easier route to respond to everyones questions

Dawn and Jeanie:  I will be at the meeting on Tuesday and I plan to go Thursday for the suburban meeting

LeeAnn just let me know when and where for Lunch

Saw the Neurosurgeon yesterday regarding the pinched nerves in my back, well I am going to leave it a lone for a while.  I refuse to have a myelogram, or the epidural blocks in my back to relieve pain and that was the recommendation.   I can live with the pain it just sometimes gets worse especially last night after walking, carrying chunky monkey and picking up Destinee putting her in and out of the shopping baskets( I know I should not be doing) however, Mommy was no where to be found  and I was not chasing that child all over Value City so her butt went in the back of the shopping basket and Nysia sat in the child part.

I will see everyone that is coming Tuesday

Vicki,
You sound so much like my Mom and her back pain! They wanted her to have that myelogram too and she said NO WAY....I told her to get a second opinion, cause they didn't need that test for her first back surgery.. but she's just living with it right now.
Good luck!

Yeah Sandi I have a couple of friends that have chronic back pain and those epidural blocks and myleograms were no help to them at all.   My hubby had a myleogram 2 years agao but he has to have them because he is a spinal cord injury patient.  He has them do it without even numbing him  OUCH  not me but he is basically numb to some degree from the waist down so he doesnt feel that much.

Are we going to see you at Support Tues or Thursday

Hi Ms. Vicki
It is good to hear you getting around again.
I would like to offer an easy way to get one in the basket before the one in the child seat of the basket.
Pull the part that pushes up when carts go together up and let them crawl in the the "draw bridge door". Have that child scoot all the way to the end of the basket so that the gate will close down again. That way you will not have to lift the older child. It is jsut a thought.

Vicki...we can talk Tuesday and firm up plans for lunch. The cart idea is a great one! Maybe you need to get a rope and tie mommy to the cart next time! She knows you have back probs...she needs to be the one doing that lifting! I hope you are seeing results with your PT...mine helped strengthen my back to where my pain in decreased alot. i have learned to use the muscles more than my spine and it really does make a difference. I have a few visits left...saving those for the colder months when it bothers me the worst! I am only allowed so many visits per year with medicare and since they do not bill Medicaid i have to pay the copay myself. Hence the reason I am so stingy with the visits. See ya Tuesday!
