I have messages sitting here in my box unanswered so I wanted to explain.

I was offered and accepted a job at the Bethesda North Breast Center.  I am so excited about this job as it is something new and exciting.  the center has been basically a place to go for exams and mammograms or films.  Now they are expanding into a new building with a lot of things to offer.  Some of which I cant discuss at this time, ( because I am not sure what they are..lol )
The new center (which will be a recognized center of excellence once it's all in place)..my position as a navigator asst./clilnical asst. is so exciting.   it's something new they are working on and as of now I am the first and only asst being trained..I think I am a guinea pig..lol..
I work with 9 different surgeons..so far this week I have watched 4 procedures as well as work with some of the best cancer docs and surgeons in the area.
With this being said..I realized I no longer will have the time or energy to devote to Bariatrics..though I have enjoyed it for the last several years it is time for me to move forward.
I want to thank everyone for your encouragement and support.
Oh yes and to answer a couple of questions..My mother did have her lung biopsy..it seemed to be in a diffiult place and took longer than expected..a pneumothorax occured during the procedure which caused a slight complication..but rignt now she is resting well and seems comfortable..thank you for your well wishes and prayers.
I will from time to time check my emails..but I will not be as available as before..this new position and my mom needing my attention will be keeping me away from the computer.
I wish you well and continued success...remember YOU ARE NO. 1  ....remember to take care of you!!!

p.s. take good care of your mom, she is the only one you have and she can't be replaced, I lost my mom is 2005 and my dad in 2001 and my world is a much lonelier place without them in it!!
