I'm knee deep in Gracie's closet today pulling all the summer clothes out and any winter things that are too small and the doorbell rings. It's the UPS man which isn't anything unusual but he hands me a 1-800-flowers box today!

Inside were 18 multi-colored roses from Richard with a card that simply said "I love you."

Today isn't my birthday, our anniversary or anything special so I called him up and asked "What did I do to deserve these or what do you do to have to send them?"

He just laughed and said, "I hadn't sent you flowers in a while so I thought you'd like to have some"

We go on to chat and I asked what the significance of 18 instead of 6 or 12 was.

......his response??

Well, I thought maybe I could get lucky 18 times in the next week if i sent 18.....

Typical "Richard" response!!

He then conceeded that they had a special.....buy 12 get 6 free!!

I guess I keep him around a little longer!

Dan does that and calls them JUST BECAUSE days. Just because what ever he bought me made him think of me. I got roses in December and my father in law thought he had done something wrong. I said just because your a lousy husband doesn't mean your son is. My friends all want to knoe if he has a brother. Yes, but he is like his father.
Enjoy the roses and the it this week Becka. Tell Richard I said thanka for making you smile today and tonight.

Awww...that really was sweet....I am jealous. I did get flowers for my birthday from Dawn....first time I had gotten flowers in probably 12 years or so. I love them...just no body that sweet on me I guess...sniffle sniffle....

18 times huh? Damn Richard you are gonna need to pack in those vitamins son! Mr Sunshine has some V..gra is you want it...God knows he ain't getting any reason to use it!
