Accountability: Diet and Exercise Wednesday Oct. 29
Today I had to miss work - again....and feeling horrible about it. Donovan's poison ivy had worsened and he had a fever with sore throat and sinus issues. Took him to the Dr. He got 2 shots and is on antibiotics now. He is already asleep and not feeling well.
This afternoon, I got my driver's license changed back to my original name, had passport photos taken, and have sent off for my passport!!!! :)
Today's Intake:
B: 2 eggs, 1 slice toast
L: Reno's - 6 grilled shrimp, 2 slices of cucumber, 1 cherry tomaote, several bites of a Spanish Rosebud/Bloomin Onion thing, and a handful of peanuts ( I dumped later and I am blaming the Onion - way too much grease!)
S: 1/2 granola bar
D: 1 baked Tilapia filet, 1/4 c. corn w/ peppers and onion, 2 Tablespoon saffron rice, 2 slices of english cucumber
S: 1/2 serving farina, 1/2 c. SF mandarin oranges
S: 1 small sugar cookie ( my stomach is hurting from this one too), and 2 slices of cheese (making an effort to get a little protein there)
Not sure why I am eating "bad" things.....stress maybe - my old comfort foods, hormones ?? who knows but I need to do better tomorrow!
Exercise: Embarassed to say none. Not sure how to get myself remotivated and back on track. I feel like I simply don't have time anymore.

Leslie, you are still going through a lot of things, changing your drivers license, passport may seem simple but they are big changes you've made today that at present are permanent. However bad food is not your friend. It did not bring comfort in the past and really won't now. Just walk away from it. That being said I hope I'll practice it myself. Hope Donovan gets better soon.

Well with teenage woes, a divorce, a family funeral and who knows what else I'd say you've had your fair share of it lately!
I do not envy you! Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
Maybe you can make for Lee Ann's slumber party and I'll be the designated driver!
I'm not doing very well lately AT ALL!! Not sure why i'm having trouble getting my act together when it comes to diet and exercise but it seems like I am on a course to ruin my good work!

I certainly have restriction but i'm eating the "easy" stuff and playing ping-pong with the same two pounds since right after vacation! Maybe I just need to get my routine back but that's going to be hard too with us going into the Holiday season....LOL....I'm gonna be HUGE by January!
Dunno, maybe I just feel like pouting tonight....I'm gonna hang out online for a while and then maybe go to bed early...afterall, tomorrow is another day!
FOOD
B: StarBECK's Skinny cini dulce latte (8oz coffee, 8oz mik, S/F syrup and 4 splenda)
L: maybe 3/4 cup of Q'doba Naked Chicken Burrito (rice, black beans, chicken, salsa, light sour cream and Pico)
S; a few tortilla chips
D: KFC 1 thigh, about 4 bites of cole slaw and about 4 bites of potatoes and gravy (I did PB some of it though)
S: A biscuit with cherry preserves (the fat girl in me decided that since I lost the supper meal the biscuit was a good trade)
oh yeah, i'm sure there will be some sort of nibbling before I actually make it to bed unless I go RIGHT NOW!

Hi Becka, cooler weather seems to bring out the eat in me. Though I don't do the celebrating or extra cooking and such, I seem to eat more from November to January. I gained five pounds in December last year, a month after being banded. This year I plan to do better.

I agree with Z...cold weather..food changes. I have been craving chicken and dumplings! I am trying so hard to do better....we went for Chinese last night. I took my plate and just put a tablespoon of this and that and did fine. When I ate I got distracted feeding Braedyn that i never went back for more....Did fudge and have 1/4 glass of pepsi though...tasted good but not the same. My taste buds have gotten so strange...things I never liked are suddenly delicious. I tried some of my favs and just do not like them anymore....So here is my intake...sketchy as it is:
