does anyone know what it would cost for the surgery to get the skin removed from your stomach area, i have 9 lbs. to go to get to my right weight but i think i have that much skin hanging, and since my insurance wont cover it , i need to start saving. tracy

You may want to contact Dr Shena in Jeffersonville. I heard through the grape vine that he was doing these surgeries and very resonable.

I'm not sure about costs and will soon be in the same boat as you (I'm 30 pounds away from goal) BUT the Downtown Louisville Norton support Group's topic this month will be on plastic surgery!  I'm hoping to get some of the same questions answered as I'm hoping to start my consultation for TT and/or breast reduction after the first of the year.  The date and time for this meeting is November 11th (Tuesday) @ 6pm.

They are very open to letting non-Norton's patients attend their meetings.  You should try to come and met up with us crazy gals!  If you'd like to go but don't know the area I could meet up with you on the KY side (I'm in Oldham County) and you could follow me into downtown!
