I FELL OFF THE WAGON!!!!! AND IT HURT.. UPDATE ON ME
First offf. I really hate that I am missing the walk right now!!! ughh!!!! But Katelyn had a great time and to be honest so did I. I really enjoyed spendnig time with my mom and stepdad and with my brother... I forgot how much goodness my brother has in him.. He reminds me of my grandad ALOT!!!
So that explains where I was sat and sunday... Friday was a whole different story... As some of you know, I work parttime for a large bank that we wont name but they SUCK.. Friday at quitting time they informed me that Dec 26th I will be out of a job.. The last official day of my would have been 13 year career is the day after christmas.. LIKE IM GONNA WORK IT?
I have enjoyed this job, or more the people I worked for so Im sad to see it come to an end... One good thing is I get a great Severance package... 7 months of paid leave, with all benefits intact for the seven months.. So I think I might see if I can get a grant to go back to school... Soemthing I can learn in a year or so?? ORRRRRRRRR
Im thinking of trying to get on at a photo studio and learn about touching up my photo skills and trying to start my own career that I really love and thats taking pictures... Any one need pictures taken? lol....
The thing that worries me is insurance.... I worry that my band will have a problem and Todd's insurance DOES NOT cover anything to do with this band... My fill days are just about done so I can pay for those out of pocket... but the other stuff scares me.. So I will just have to baby BandAid alot more and not push her anymore...
I have really been stressed and worried but I think in the long run I will be better off... Friday I didnt think that I was a bawling mess!!!

DANG! Sorry to hear about your job girl, that REALLY sucks! And at Christmas nonetheless.
Well as of this Thursday I am in the same shape as you, as it is my last day at the physicians office, (dr decided to move to Cinny and teach at a medical school). I am halfway thankful that is happened this time of year so that I can get things in order such as cleaning out all my old clothes, a super-duper house cleaning, Im talking washing the walls & everything and some other things I have sooooo been putting off.
I too have wanted to go back to school but always used the excuse that I worked too many hrs so I didnt have time...well, I dont have the excuse any longer can I? Dammit...lol
Anyways, take this 'opportunity' and run with it. You got a sweet severence deal which will give you time to figure out what you wanna do.
Good luck to ya and Im sure you'll fall back into a healthy routine before ya know it! Try not to stress too much and like I said, look at this like it is an 'opportunity'.

Thanks Dawn! Im not stressed about it, I only took this job because it was part time but soon after I got there it went full time. While I did enjoy it, Im kinda glad to have the time off to do the things I want to do. So probably in the spring I will go back to school...we'll see!
Thanks for asking about the wedding..it went so great! We laughed & cut up the whole time! We are both big joksters and we just had the best time ever. I just got the pics back from the photographer so I'll post some more soon.

I have been wanting to come to one of the meetings but never had the chance. I usually didnt get home until 5 or 6ish but now after next week I can hopefully plan on one. Trisha, (another OH Loser) and I are gonna try & meet up (she lives near me) and get to one so keep your fingers crossed! And shoot, we're practically neigbors too!
Ive already mentioned on here before than Im jealous of all of you having all these get togethers and meetings so now there isnt any excuses!!

Dawn glad you had a good time with your family, family is the most important thing. Sorry to hear about your job it does suck and right at Christmas, If I was still working in 2006 at Christmas I would have been laid off also so my friends were but I was on medical leave.

Well...let's just say they should be very happy that they at least gave you a severance pkg....I would have to go down there and kick some butt! I still that is a lousy Merry Christmas bonus! Poop heads! Glad your time with the family was fun....you needed that!

Not bad considering I was a 4x! I love it! I also measured and saw that I have gone down a total of 4.5 inches! Not too shabby eh?! I am in such a great mood now! Finally!
