I am up...have been since 6...the one day I have to sleep in and here I am! Yesterday ended up being a wash out on tasks to be done. We spent three hours a two diff grocery stores trying to get good deals on food. I think i did great! My cupboards are stocked and my deep freeze is looking alot better. I spent about half so I get a pat on the back. one of the stores had 5 pks of meat for $20...I took full adantage of that and got the staples.....no steaks though. I figured if they come up at a good price i will replace those then. This will really take some pressure off and allow me to use what i would have spent on groceries over to the bills. I am hoping by next month I should have all the basics caught up and start putting a little back for Christmas. I msg Dawn to see if she was still going but have not heard back....it was late last night. All the girls are stil asleep...wonder what time they came dragging home....Lol....I am just enjoying the peace and quiet. I cleaned up the kitchen, washed dishes, etc....Well I guess I will go get my shower so my hair has time to dry......see you all later today!

Big pat on the back on the groceries! I wish we had be able to get assistance. We are in desparate need of food in this house! LOL  Of course, just mainly the staples, but none the less, it is food!
Can't wait to see you all in a little while! I am so excited about the walk!  It is going to be a perfect day for it! Thank the Lord for that!
I am getting ready to hop in the shower mysel*****ta get everyone else up and ready to go to.  Just made myself a POWER PROTEIN shake!  In 12 ounces of milk, along with the powder, there are 70 grams of protein! Woooo Hooooo! I have been slacking, and can really tell, so time to pump up the volume!
For those of you not able to attend the walk, please keep us all in your prayers and thoughts!  Also, feel free to donate to the cause online!  You can access the donations page from the link posted the other day, and from my MySpace page as well.  Thanks in advance!
See you all soon!

Lee Ann,
I got up early and grabbed my lap top and thought I could beet you this morning at telling everyone goodmorning. Oh well I will try next time, ha ha. FIVE more days. I went and got a new hair cut and eye brows waxed, my hair is short and spiked up all over. I thought it would be easier to take care of. I thought I would take your advise, No matter how bad I feel the next day after surgery I am going to make myself get up and get cleaned up and put make-up on and make myself look like I should feel. Have a great day ladies.

Pampering your self is good Sharon.   Everyone at the hospital laughed at me cause I brought my makeup, hairdryer and straight iron.   All though I was in ICU 3 days the 4th day when they moved me out and I could get up I was up in the shower and did my hair and makeup I dont lelave anywhere without that done unless I am really really sick.   So pampering is the best medicine when your feeling under the weather

We are going to miss her, but I understand about Katelyn.  It is going to be fun! We are leaving for church now, and going to Sunday School, then we will be leaving after that, so we can get there with plenty of time to spare! See you all soon!

LeAnn: I can tell you about my smart deal research of grocery stores.  In the Cincinnati area I tried Kroger, Meijer, Biggs, Aldies, Remkes and found the best prices at the Walmart Superstores.  So I shop every week at the Walmart in Florence, KY.  I hope this helps for you neck of the woods. Amy

Lee Ann, it's a little late in the day, but thought I'd give you a quick shout out this afternoon!!!!  I've been thinking about you and the other gals walking today.  You all have certainly had a gorgeous day to walk.  It is such a beautiful day.  Some dear friends drove out after church to meet us for lunch in Shelby County this afternoon.  What a great day to be out and about enjoying the beautiful weather.  Hope you, LaChelle, Becka and others enjoyed your walk. BY THE WAY, Ms. Lee Ann, I have noticed that YOU are steadily being very successful in your weight loss journey these days. BRAVO!!!
 <--- Happy Dancin' for ya!
