LaChelle: What's the plan for the walk?

This one time....in

Hey there,

I finally went in and signed up!  Do we have a working plan yet??

Are we meeting in one location and then going?  What time?  What should we wear?

I think it's supposed to rain Sunday so I'm leaving Princess Sassypants and Mr. Entertainment at home.  If anyone has a wagon we could take provisions though like hot cocoa or coffee, dry blankets and umbrellas.....

I am planning on being there and can't wait to meet you guys!

Was wondering some of the same things......where to meet, and at what time, etc.  I am wearing yoga or jogging pants and pink t-shirt - and probalby a little jacket to match.............hope we don't freeze to death, but hey, maybe that will motivate us to walk at a faster pace !   lol

Think I'll just carry my water bottle.  I'm a sipper anyways.
An umbrella is a GREAT idea too!  Will have to put that on my list.

well I was hoping to come.. but unless I can get Katelyn to leave the camping with my brother early, I wont be there.. He doesn't have enough room in his car for all four kids if I leave.. And I wont let him take Katelyn any where that way.. So looks like I may be stuck in the cold with 4 kids and three adults in a 6 man pop up camper.. I am not gonna be a happy camper peoplE!!!!
I may use the walk as leverage to get her leave!! She will get to see my "FRIENDS"... I can get my mom and step dad to give me a donation to walk!! hehehhee
Lachelle, Becca. I will call one of you if I get Katelyn to come home sat night..

Well, lets see what we have so far.

Dress:  Pink t-shirt and comfortable sweat pants.  I have white ones that I am wearing that came from Victoria Secret's and they even say PINK on the leg!

Yes, we do need to meet somewhere early, so we can get checked in at the same time.  I got a phone call from Laura K, who is the chair-person for the walk.  She is also the one that sent out the e-mails to those already registered.  Anyway, she wanted to remind me that even if you did sign up online, you will need to fill out a paper application.  I have those, and will bring them with me on Sunday.  If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on where to meet up, please share them.  I don't know where good places to meet up in downtown.  There is free parking by the ball field, so maybe somewhere close to there would be the best suggestion.  We can start registering at noon, and then we will have to wait until 1 pm to actually start walking.  So, we can get everything and everyone together and be ready at 1.
I will be keeping an eye on the weather too.  I have been logging in on my StormChaser site, and as of right now, it is supposed to be clear and cool on Sunday.  Only a 20% chance of showers early Sunday morning.  Hopefully the rain will hold out, and we will have a gorgeous day to walk!

Good idea about hot cocoa or coffee.  I may try to come up with some Hot Cider too.  That was so good the other night at your house, Becka!  An umbrella is a good idea as well, just in case.  If you didn't want to hold an umbrella, they have rain ponchos at Walmart for $5.00.  I will be bringing mine, just as a precaution.

Any other ideas or suggestions, please post them away. We don't have to go all out, just have fun with it.  If you don't want to carry alot of stuff, then just put on a fanny pack with a few things, and grab a bottle of water, and head downtown!

Let me know what everyone thinks!

At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!
