I had been seriously considering revising my rny to a DS but I believe I'll try to lose the weight I've regained on my own first.  I've gained 80 pounds in the last year.  Mostly its all me.  Yes, it's been a emotional roller coaster of a year and I've gone back to all my bad habits but my head is in the right place. I am a strong and determined woman and I can do this.  Yes, revisions are fine for those who need them and in time if something happens and I can't lose the weight due to a medical problem then, heck yea, I'd go for it.  But not right now.  I do have some serious reflux issues going on but I've gotten on some tummy meds and it's doing ok.  I've got to get my thyroid tested. It was ok before my rny 3.5 yrs ago but it was suggested I get it tested and its not a biggie to go get tested.  I'm going to start keeping a food journal again, cut out my diet sodas (no my surgeon didn't say I had too but I'm going too), add protien and exercise back in to my diet and lifestyle.  I'm going to stop all the grazing and bad habits.  I will do this.  I'm just telling myself that instead of having another surgery it'll be like being a brand new post op.  Smaller portions and protien, protien, protien.   I hope no one thinks I'm downing revisions because I'm not, it's just not the right thing for me, right now.  I'm back and I'm going to stay back!  I will do this, I have no doubts at all.
Thanks for all u're support over the last 4 yrs that I've been a part of this family....Good luck to all of u whether u're post op, pre op, non op!!!

Well the problems were all me, nothing surgery related.  I took too many ibprophens after a car accident, caused me some acid issues and I let myself start bad habits again.  I gotta cut all that out. Add protien, water and exercise back in to my daily routine and start a food journal.  I'll get it back off. I lost it once and theres no reason I can't again....
Thanks

You can do it, I have been struggling as of late also. It is so much easier to eat more now than before . It seems like I stay hungrier. I think everyone stuggles after 3 years and if you don't you are indeed one of the lucky ones. Good luck to you and keep in touch.
