Is this normal?

My surgery was on October 3 (about 1 1/2 weeks ago) I never had the gas pains that everyone talks about in the shoulder and stuff until yesterday.  It was myfirst day back at work and it started hurting shortly after I got to work.  Today it is about to kill me. I keep getting up and walking doen the halls and stuff i have taken gas x,  I don't have a heating pad here at work.  Is it normal for it to start this far out and does anyone have any suggestions that would help? 

Also, I can't make it to the meeting tonight.  I can't get out of cheerleading practice and it's not over until 5:30.  You all have a good time and I am definitely going to try to make the next one.

Yes its normal Patty, I am 14 months out I still get it once and a while and I agree it can be so uncomfortable.

It has been good.  We had cheerleading practice yesterday after school so it was a long day but I got through it. Sounds like you all had a good time last night.  When is the next meeting?  I will have to see what I can work out.  Cheereleading will go on through the end of November so maybe next time I can get one of the other coaches to cover for me.

 Suburban is next thursday and then novemeber at downtown is SUPPOSEDLY plastic surgery its the second tuesday of the month.

Ok Trina...so I know you are having the gas pains, but I guess I need more information about that aspect of the "afterlife"...lol
