Anyone have any suggestions?  I don't know where to start. I am young and I have always been on my parents insurance. Now I am on my own and need to either get my own or figure out a way to pay for it. Does anyone know any good insurance companies that would pay 100%? THanks for your help in advance. I REALLY want to get it done.

I don't know of any insurance that would pay 100%.  I know there are some Lapband companies and doctor's who have their own financing.  Maybe you could look into that?

Thanks. I saw a few out of state that had said they had 100%. Hmm I will check into your suggestion though! Thanks. :)

where do you work?  It depends on your job really, I know alot of people go to work for Starbucks when they want wls.  Also working for the state/county in the school system will give you good insurance.

eta:  you have to remember that if you do the lapband you have fills that need to be paid for as long as you keep your band - someone here should be able to talk to you about the out of pocket cost or insurance on that
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.
