Things to do with the kids during fall break
Not from that area, but I have visited the slugger museum and that was pretty good.
When my son was younger (almost 17 now!), he loved the outdoors this time of year. We would wait until dark, throw a sweater on, build a little fire and roast marshmallows.
During the days, we would pack a picnic lunch, hit a park, and feed ducks (always took a box of crackers or loaf of bread!).
Not only in fall, but anytime of year, we would make cards for whatever season and took sugar free snacks to hand out at local nursing homes. The ones that never got visitors REALLY loved this!!!! And it gave my son a respect for the elderly as he listened to some of their stories.
What about decorating the yard for the fall season?
What about a photo outing? Get them their own cameras and turn them lose outside - taking picutures of the trees / leaves / squirrles / each other?
Maybe a local church or community center is collecting clothes and toys (like new) to help needy families at christmas.........maybe the kids could clean out their closets and pick a few items to donate...........even if they don't maybe the closets would get organized and have the winter clothes moved to the front ?
Will stop for now!!! I have a creative mind and could go on forever! Sorry.
Enjoy the fall break!!!!! I know your kids will.

Read alot of reviews on Carribean cove...most 80% said dirty and not worth the money...I am with Leslie...lots to do and stay local...we go sight seeing inour own town! Train depot, museum, pioneer village, lakes with ducks, spring mill with an inn and indoor pool! All kinds of stuff!
I agree outdoors is fun! The weather is great! Let them enjoy the park with some friends. Let them play play play outside because before we know it winter will be here and we will all be cooped up inside. So enjoy these nice days while they are here!
